    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1. Leading support of our HRIS systems
    2. Participate and lead sub-pieces of our global implementation of HCM applications
    3. Implement best practice data security and Workday HRIS processes

     

    Additional responsibilities of the role include:

    • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our drills by providing accurate and informative reports and analytics
    • Conduct analysis of business and user needs for information, features, reports, and functions in order to develop requirements for data analytics and reporting for operating units and corporate functions, to understand Solera’s systems and capabilities to ensure the most efficient use of data assets.
    • Elicit requirements using interviews, data analytics, business process descriptions and workflow analysis
    • Create and execute test scripts, scenarios and test plans that validate initial business requirements and desired analytical reporting capabilities 
    • Assist in the creation of deliverables that are developed jointly with the user and technical development team, including output definition, logical design (business process and rules, data elements and flows, screens and reports), implementation plan, documentation, and training needs
    • Counsel and advise users on data uses, definitions, assets' capabilities and information management processes
    • Produce data maps, collaborate in designing and validating the logical data model design and prototyping
    • Develop reports and analytical objects which meet business requirements of business organizations
    • Become a SME on the organization's data, processes and business methodologies
    • Collect multiple streams of data and decompose them into concise specifications
    • Collaborate with technical experts and business units to determine the best possible reporting mechanisms
    • Be a liaison between HR, IT, and Finance to perform cross functional reports
    • Produce ad hoc data analytics/reports

    Qualifications

    Are You Qualified?

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • At least 5 years of work experience in a reporting and/or data analysis HCM/ERP environment 
    • At least 3 years’ experience supporting the Workday HRIS platform. 
    • Advanced Microsoft Access (queries, macros, VBA programming) 
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, graphing/charting, formulas) 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to travel 15%
