You will serve as the SR Product Owner.



    Position 80s

    What You’ll Be Doing


    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what are our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1. Provide product leadership and domain knowledge, translating requirments from customers to technical language and translaiting delivery from development to customer facing documentation (generate requirements, accept code, UAT, and document results) CPO and Enterprise reporting.
    2. Deliver quarterly analysis on product performance in market, competitive analysis and product utilization statistics using results of analysis to deliver market leading product requirements keeping backlog groomed and fresh at least 3 releases deep.
    3. Non functional requirements, deliver plan for set of consistent NFR's to be added to all service products, supported by IT and delivered with consistency across all releases 




    Are You Qualified?


    • Minimum of a BA/BS Computer Science or combination of relevant experience and related technical degree required.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Software Engineering/ Development Product Management
    • Minimum of 2 years’ Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
    • A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and a strong operational/business focus.
    • Extensive technical hands-on knowledge of SW Product Development
    • SQA knowledge is desirable
    • Enthusiasm and energy that influence and inspire a high level of professionalism and esprit de corps among employees.
    • Very motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of urgency and accountability; willing and able to deliver timely.
    • Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills. Can gain the respect of and work effectively with the senior management team, employees, customers, government agencies and suppliers.
    • Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
    • Must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and be adaptive in a fast-paced environment
    • High energy, strong team player
    • Demonstrated experience working with broad cross-functional teams with ability to sell ideas and plans to internal constituencies, executives, and customers
    • Excellent interfacing skills in front of customers, prospects, sales meeting, tradeshows and executives
