    This position (Dallas, TX) is with Solera Global Data & Content team headquartered in Dallas, TX and Madrid, Spain. Our team is responsible for making sense of data and providing insights to various business groups within the company. We use foundational open source technologies to move Solera forward.

    We’re on the hunt for an experienced Big Data Developer who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. You will serve as the Big Data Developer. The role is based at Solera offices in Westlake (Dallas / Fort Worth area). This role exists within a team that develops global solutions.

    1,  Global GAC internally and externally and provide strategic and tactical leadership, support and guidance.

    2, Develop and implement a system for tracking and reporting on the progress of the strategic plan implementation and effectiveness impact.

    3, Act as backbone of the organization ensuring operational excellence and process. Prepare, submit and monitor annual operational budgets with Finance, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.

     

    Qualifications

    • Contribute to GAC operating plan reviews and business development initiatives, leading initiatives as defined by the VP GAC with the OEM Business Development team to develop detailed OEM business profiling, competitive overviews and TAM/market share analysis and fact-based information to promote Solera solutions.
    • Support GAC VP with interactions and presentations for customers, partners, industry trade shows, and board of directors.
    • Anticipate senior management team needs and ensure that strategic projects are followed up and completed in a timely manner with high delivery quality.
    • Manage the GAC team status reporting/customer project updates, and maintain accurate and up to date filing of project related documents and communications.
    • Lead the GAC Customer/Product roadmap development with the Business Development team.
    • Contribute to materials and documents related to the execution of key GAC projects and programs being presented to Solera GDC senior management & the CEO; ensuring accuracy and quality.
    • Conduct qualitative & quantitative research and analysis, intellectually uncover inherent OEM / industry trends and summarize data and facts from vertical and horizontal business units to support GAC initiatives and presentations (internal and customer-facing).
