    We’re on the hunt for an experienced "Procurement to Payment" (P2P) Manager who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed. You will serve as the "Procurement to Payment" (P2P) Manager.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1.  Enhance and improve an enterprise Procure to Pay (P2P) process, enabled by a single common ERP system (and related enterprise business intelligence tools). Lead a talented and   engaged P2P shared business services organization focused on delivering business value to internal and external customers.
    2.  Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the current P2P processes by leveraging the scope and scale of a common enterprise world class process and enabling systems.
    3.  Enable the accelerated transformation of Solera’s US business units to become one US Team focused on One US Strategy to achieve Mission 2020.


    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design, implementation & operationalization of world class common enterprise P2P processes including procurement, accounts payable, and travel and expense management.
    • Responsible for ensuring that all internal process controls for the P2P process are adequately designed, that all controls are being performed and that evidence of the control being performed exists for audit purposes.
    • Design & Implement a business intelligence framework to support both financial and managerial reporting requirements for the P2P process. Develop an internal business analytics capability to provide the businesses with meaningful and actionable insights that yield savings and efficiencies.
    • Define and maintain all enterprise policies, procedures and standards for P2P process including Purchasing, New Vendor Adds, Receiving, Travel and Expense Management, and Payments. Take appropriate action to ensure policies & procedures are effectively communicated across the enterprise.
    • Attract, recruit, and retain a talented & high performance P2P organization that is focused on delivering value to internal customers and is recognized by the businesses as being a true source of subject matter expertise.
    • Enterprise responsibility for all P2P master data (Vendors, Catalogs, etc.)
    • Lead the definition of functional requirements & configuration of key enabling financial systems (OCR Invoice Scanning Tools, Concur, Banking Interfaces, etc.)
    • Create a culture of continuous improvement that focuses on the 30/30 opportunities and is continuously raising the expectations of the organization.
    • Primary responsibility for vendor relationship management for key P2P service providers.
    • Design & Implement a P2P Process performance management system to measure (KPI’s) the overall performance & capability of the P2P process (Cost, Quality, Productivity, Risk).
    • Create a performance culture that is driven by a desire to exceed planned expectations.


    Are You Qualified?

    • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is required. Master’s degree preferred.
    • CPA preferred, 3-5 years public accounting experience preferred.
    • 8-10 Years prior P2P operational management experience leading the design and implementation of P2P shared services delivery models for complex multinational businesses within the software / technology industry.
    • Prior experience implementing “Software as a Service” (SaaS) business models based on either subscription or consumption based pricing frameworks.
    • 5 years prior experience identifying, recruiting and retaining talented people and creating work environments where employees have been successful.
    • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP Accounting).
    • Prior experience in creating a culture of continuous improvement and a good understanding of Six Sigma & Lean principles.
    • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully managing significant change within a large diverse organization.
    • Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX
    • Advanced understanding of the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley act and prior experience implementing and managing internal control plans.
