    We’re on the hunt for an experienced Data Services Research Analyst who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed.  As a Data Services Research Analyst, you would be responsible for higher level data management which includes business/data architecture and strategic focused analysis. This personal also analyzes project requirements, tests data and implements program jobs and special programming.

    What You'll Be Doing
    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1. Basic query writing and data analysis; Write / modify SQL queries on MS SQL databases
    2. Identify and resolve data issues; Identify and define data analysis projects to solve business problems; Be able to summarize results from data analysis and present findings to key stakeholders 
    3. Administer master data management system; deliver data and digital media content for publishing; ensure data quality through queries and metrics

    Additional Responsibilities of this role include:

    • Project management and presentations
    • Manage complex data analysis projects
    • Collaborate with application developers, database team, and strategy team
    • Summarize results from data analysis using Excel and PowerPoint
    • Present findings to internal stakeholders
    • Determines computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system
    • Other duties may be assigned


    Are You Qualified?

      • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
      • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with data content creation, preferably in the automotive space
      • Experience with relational database principals
      • Ability to quickly identify, quantify and permanently resolve problems
      • Assess situation and make decisions (may include seeking out a subject matter expert for more advice)
      • Develop strategies, action plans, and metrics to monitor results
      • Effectively communicate ideas through written and spoken word, including demonstrated ability to communicate conclusions and data interpretation.
      • Listen to others and appropriately act on information provided
      • Understand and articulate customer needs and strategies
      • Responds promptly to customer requests
      • Develop innovative approaches and ideas
      • Lead and motivate others
      • Coordinate and manage projects
      • Multi-task, prioritize, coordinate projects and meet simultaneous deadlines
      • Work independently with minimal supervision and under constant deadline pressure
      • Work in a fast-paced, changing environment
      • Use a variety of computer programs/systems 
      • Quickly learn new technologies
