    We’re on the hunt for an experienced Data Services Research Analyst who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed.  As a Data Services Research Analyst, you would be responsible for higher level data management which includes business/data architecture and strategic focused analysis. This personal also analyzes project requirements, tests data and implements program jobs and special programming.

    What You'll Be Doing
    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

     

    1. Ensure the quality and timeliness of data collection processes, pricing activities, photo/image acquisition and IAR processes to generate applicable reports for managers and/or clients, as assigned.
    2. Responsible for research and development and/or administration and support of computerized databases used in analytical study in products and licenses. This includes gathering factual information and raw data pertaining to issues and/or procedures by reviewing OE parts documents, alternative (Jobber) part sources and analyzing client inputs.
    3. Maintain associated procedures, manuals, microfiche, electronic parts catalogs, and special bullitens
       

     

    Additional Respnsibilites of this role include:

     

    • Support internal and external department operational needs, including quality control checks for assigned areas (downloads, database administration, master-filing, etc.).

     

    • In some instances, may be responsible for the design and implementation of database development and/or training for other associates.

     

    • Provides quality assurances (QA processes) and statistical analysis results, as assigned.

     

    • As required, provides and maintains internal and external client support and contact throughout assigned projects.

    Qualifications

    Are You Qualified?

     

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • Vocational -Technical education \ training advantageous
    • Must have a good knowledge of vehicle parts and how they fit & function.
    • Must have hands-on experience with MS Office applications
    • Must be able to apply judgment in resolving problems and in making routine recommendations
    • Must be reliable and a team player
    • Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company and the general public, both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to demonstrate a courteous, tactful and professional approach with employees and external customers and vendors
    • Ability to accurately complete tasks and projects, within allowable timeframes.
    • Ability to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
    • Ability to perform special assignments as requested by the management team
    • Ability to efficiently organize.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
      • Good mechanical knowledge of automotive parts.
      • Responsible for gathering factual information and raw data from the automotive industry.
      • Responsible for research and development of Interchange information and the entry of that data into the computerized web based database
      • Ensures the quality and timeliness of the data collection by performing quality assurance checks on data as required.
      • Assist with update releases and improvements to the data files.
      •     Performs specific research to respond to client issues (IARs) as required.
      • Photography skills are an added benefit.
