    What You’ll Be Doing


    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.


    The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1. Responsible for designing and developing infrastructure solutions and for driving improvement of network operations.
    2. Responsible for prototyping new solutions as part of the enterprise architecture function.
    3. To provide operational support to associates in the network and infrastructure teams as required.

     Additional responsibilities of the role include: 

    • Deliver proof of concept build & design for new initiatives
    • Mentor associates to upskill the team & work with other guilds to outline solutions to drive process efficiency
    • Automate processes where possible to reduce manual configuration
    • Understand the infrastructure environment
    • Must have a methodical, analytical approach & be able to work to aggressive deadlines whilst remaining flexible to the needs of the business
    • Must be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude & always take the initiative in ensuring project outputs are delivered on time & to the expected quality


    Are You Qualified?

    • Successfully integrate into Solera, embracing culture and Solera way
    • Become an accretive member of the networking & architecture guilds enabling more effective delivery of quality project outputs
    • Effectively targeting and driving infrastructure automation & streamlining change and maintenance workflow
    • CCNA/ CCNP desirable / Cisco ACl / Nexus switchgear & Firewall administration (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
    • Experience of a scripting language (Python, perl, bash, powershell)
    • Experience of automation tools (Ansible, puppet, chef)
    • Storage area networking (Cisco, broacade) & knowledge of server hardware (Cisco, HPE, IBM)
    • Must be willing, ready, and able to learn and execute the Solera Way
    • Proactive, enthusiastic and output driven
    • Driven to develop existing, and learn new skills
    • Willingness to embrace and drive change
