Are You Uncommon?

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Financial Analyst who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Provide financial and operational analysis by collectng, monitoring, and studying data while supporting busness to help drive double-digit revenue growth and EBITDA growth 1.5x revenue on an annual basis for SMR.  Offer strategies and insights on improving performance and reducing waste while upholding the Solera principles.

What You’ll Be Doing

At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what are volunteers are responsible for – their mission.

  • Maintain financial models and reports relating to sales productivity, revenue, and operational activities.
  • Assist in development and review of full P&L forecasts and annual budget and submit to corporate reporting tool in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review financial variances between Actual/Budget/Forecast financial and operational results.
  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, building presentations of findings and analysis, and communicating recommendations.
  • Monitor KPIs and perform analysis identifying strengths and weaknesses. Review with management to evaluate possible alternatives and recommend appropriate corrective or improving actions.
  • Build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data to forecast operating results.
  • Conduct comparable analysis as necessary in support of key business metrics and objectives.
  • Prepare monthly deferred revenue schedules.
  • Review commission results for accuracy and submit for payroll.
  • Submit purchase requisitions and track approvals, receive invoices for payment.

Assist accounting in month-end reporting, SOX compliance, and process/policy developments and improvements.


Are You Qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of one year of financial analysis and/or account experience required
  • FP&A, modeling, businesses analysis, forecasting, and budgeting experience required
  • Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, What-If Analysis)
  • Strong MS PowerPoint skills (Data links, corporate templates, images, business writing)
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Organization and prioritization skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment, often on multiple projects with limited timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent worker, analytical thinker, ability to conduct research and analysis and solve complex problems
  • Quick learner, particularly in ability to learn new software programs
  • Ability to practice discretion while working on highly confidential projects

Experience using ERP and financial performance management systems preferred.
