    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:


    1. Analyze company needs, gather functional requirements and work with vendor(s) and/or internal developers to design systems and tools; recommend and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system
    2. Implement, test, and maintain the company’s legacy and future HR applications and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information
    3. Maintain, develop, and revise all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation related to Workday. Design, build and test Business Processes within Workday; Understand and leverage all the Workday integration tools – Packaged Integrations, Workday studio, Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Document Transformation, etc.

    Additional responsibilities of the role include:


    • Participate in the development and delivery of training to a multilevel end-user population on system use and related human capital best practices
    • Ensure we are “Doing it Right” with testing, implementing and upholding HRIS controls and best practices
    • Must be flexible to work extended/flexible hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc., as necessary
    • All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned 


    Are You Qualified? 


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Human Resources or related field is required
    • 5+ years’ progressive experience utilizing and/or supporting HR systems: experience with Workday HCM is required with implementation experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with system implementations, migrations, testing and upgrades required
    • Experience with Ultipro, Success Factors, Concur, iCIMS, and Microsoft office preferred
    • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, processes and experience with application tools
    • Strong knowledge and experience with various functions of Human Resources systems required (i.e. payroll, benefits, time and attendance, compensation, performance management)
    • Solid knowledge of report writing components required; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (i.e. pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, charts)
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and data
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
    • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical users
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Extreme confidentiality required
    • Able to work effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment
    • Able to exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making
    • Able to establish strong customer relationships
