Solera is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to be part of an elite team at our Innovation Center, located on a beautiful 12-acre, multimillion dollar property where our R&D team sits in the Roanoke, TX area. We are innovators in the automotive & home arena, therefore the property is outfitted with remarkable & unique vehicles, fully connected and controlled through our own cognitive software interface, and equipped with the latest technology and maintenance equipment to work with.

 

Our Innovation Center is frequently used for client & executive meetings, video conference calls, as well as events for our R&D team. This elite facility is expected to be operating at the highest level of quality at all times, so we need someone who is detail-oriented, possesses elite handyman skills, enjoys working outdoors while being hands-on, and is able to operate, maintain, and repair all mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment. You will be surrounded by cutting-edge technology, a beautiful workspace, an amazing elite team and perks on a highly secured property northwest of Dallas.

Position 80s

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, etc. to ensure that the facility is properly maintained 
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs
  • Clean and repair building fixtures
  • Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize business interruption and cost
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed including nights, weekends and holidays 
  • Clean and detail onsite automobiles

Qualifications

Are You Qualified?

  • 3+ years of directly related, hands-on experience 
  • Understanding of systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, vacuum systems, landscaping, irrigation, etc
  • Able to deliver quality output with minimal direction
  • Must have automotive detailing and mechanical background
  • Maintains a current CDL Class A license
  • Comfort working around machinery that can be hazardous, ladders of heights up to 30'
  • Willingness to work on hands-on projects, indoors/outdoors, lifting 35-50+ pounds
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements 
  • Ability to Interpret and complete verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level 
  • Professional, dependable, & honest; superior customer service skills 
  • Self-motivated, meticulous eye for detail, proactive, highly reliable and a team player
  • Strong time management and time critical prioritization skills 
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test
  • Certifications: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and Information Technology certification/licensing preferred
  • Previous experience in auto detailing preferred
