Position Description:

The Program Coordinator supports the Program Manager, Operations production teams, and other internal departments with implementation of product enhancements and new programs for the pupose of automotive marketing campaings and services.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Demonstrates thorough Operational knowledge of all elements of assigned product components      
  • Manages assigned tasks for enhancing existing products and developing new products
  • Assists with implementation of product quality monitoring and process improvements
  • Creates and maintains the full range of product documentation


Primary Objectives:

  • Organizes program changes to ensure smooth transition and implementation
  • Trains operational resources to deliver a quality product, on time


Specific Responsibilities of Job


  • Must be flexible to work extended/flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc., as necessary; and
  • Demonstrates thorough Operational knowledge of all elements of assigned product components
    • Evaluates and responds to questions from AutoPoint, and vendors and AutoPoint internal support teams including: Operations, Legal, Co-op, Accounting, Installation and CIC
    • Interprets and creates production requirements for individual components of products including creative, data and variable programming
    • Describes the input/output relationship between Product enrollment user interface and production output file; Product’s coupon and asset requirements
    • Applies sound Operational (production) knowledge and provides direction to Operations team

 Manages assigned tasks for enhancing existing products and developing new products

    • Coordinates with internal teams to support enhancements or new products on time and within budget
    • Works with Creative Services and Creative Lab on new creative
    • Creates and updates Variable Programming Attribute (VPA) requirements
    • Ensures Legal and Co-op compliance for new products and enhancements
    • Prepares and coordinates implementation of Program Enhancement Requests (PER) to support updates with production vendor(s)
    • Creates and conducts training for all DMEa support teams and Account Management, as required
  • All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience: Bachelors / 4-year college degree or equivalent of three (3) or more years of business experience in management and strategic program planning/execution.
  • Specialized Training:
    • Specialized training or experience in project management/ coordination required
    • Experience working in a technology environment desirable.
    • Experience in automotive industry a plus.

  • Above average skills in Microsoft Office Software, including PowerPoint and Visio
  • Above average skills in documenting business processes and requirements, including process mapping

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, coordinate projects, meet simultaneous deadlines and follow through on commitments

  • General understanding of data-driven processes, a plus.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for multiple hours at a time and to work multiple hours a day at a computer keyboard; and 
  • Ability to remain alert and focused during the work day
