Mission

Solera is seeking a Director of Product Management. The Director of Product Management delivers profitable growth to the business, by identifying new market and product opportunities, generating business case analysis for investments, and building and leading teams to execute short-term and long-range plans.

Responsibilities

The Director is a highly visible member of the senior management team, requiring executive presence to effectively influence customers and key internal stakeholders, responsible for the following:

  • Build the product pipeline; lead new product development from ideation through launch
  • Bring solutions to the market that generate incremental YoY revenue for the business
  • Select and develop an elite team

The ideal candidate is a leader in services company that powers the back office of insurance, financial services, or other institutional customers (B2B) in addition to providing solutions to the end consumer (B2C).  Alternatively, this person will be well versed in the insurance claims industry, whereby the candidate has gained knowledge of how an insurance carrier efficiently resolves an insurance claim in compliance of regulations and company guidelines while delivering a world class customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or business
  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in Product Management utilizing a phase gate or similar process; experience working within an Agile/SCRUM environment
  • Broad experience delivering service solutions using modern technology and software
  • Experience managing and/or collaborating with geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to actively manage budgets and financial reporting for new product development activity, to include detailed business analysis and use of cutting edge tools to produce business case scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; effectively utilizes the 3Fs (Facts, Finesse, Force)
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership skills; can get things done through others in addition to having a reputation for delivering his/her mission
  • Demonstrated capabilities with six-sigma and process evaluation/improvements preferred
  • High integrity, someone who builds relationships through trust and open communication
  • Resilient, passionate and performance-driven
