    What You’ll Be Doing

    As Market Area Representative you're responsible for making outbound calls to businesses in the automotive industry within your assigned territory, understanding their needs to help them reduce diagnostic time with vehicle repair problems and add more profits in the shop. Not an expert in vehicle repair? Don’t worry, we will provide the training!

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    Lead management

    • Cold call to develop leads in assigned territory
    • Build a pipeline of prospects and qualify them 
    • Effectively communicate company’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers
    • Follow-up on inbound phone and INTERNET leads

    Sales

    • Meet minimum monthly sales goal
    • Generate new sales opportunities using telephone, fax, email and any other communication methods necessary to achieve objectives
    • Provide reporting of sales activities and expected closes on a weekly, monthly and Quarterly basis.
    • Complete web presentations to demonstrate the value of services to independent repair facilities

    Support

    • Support the installation team in collecting information and completing actions necessary to completing installation of products and services
    • Maintain business relationship with accounts in assigned territory  

    Qualifications

    Are You Qualified? 

    • Two (2) to five (5) years of successful outbound product sales experience in the business-to-business market required
    • Self-Starter who expects success from themselves
    • A desire to work with business owners, management and staff
    • Strong sales, marketing and presentation skills
    • Professional communication skills and telephone etiquette
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, and general computer skills.
    • Highest standard of professionalism, honesty, and integrity
    • Ability to thrive in a team selling work environment
    • Goal-oriented, enthusiastic and positive attitude
    • Business development is a plus
    • Experience using Salesforce CRM software preferred
    • Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
