    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    • Collaborate and coordinate with IT, development, and business teams to ensure successful change and release management.
    • Maintain and communicate release management schedules across multiple environments.
    • Partner with development to ensure readiness prior to code deployments.
    • Develop release implementation plans to ensure accurate documentation of changes.
    • Ensure all changes to production are orderly, communicated and with minimal disruption.
    • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
    • Communicate release details and schedules to the business as required.
    • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities.
    • Continually work towards making improvements in existing release processes.
    • Lead and coordinate production deployment activities including the execution of release plans.
    • Lead and participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope.

    Qualifications

    Are You Qualified?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience 4 or more years of experience in an IT or change coordination role.
    • Formal training in project management practices preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
    • Experience working with change management software.
    • Experience using Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management tools such as Remedy, CA or Service Desk Plus.
    • Solid understanding of ISO 27001 and SOX compliance regulations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized with an extreme attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple high priority items in tandem.
    • ITIL foundation understanding.
    • Ability to react quickly and to manage multiple high priority items in a stressful environment.
