Actively participate in the design, development and implementation of new and existing systems and features while delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget. A strong background in developing web based solutions is required.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of Turbo Parts application and custom catalogs as a Software Developer with experiences in technologies such as AngularJS, HTML5, and Java script that are core to the product. We expect the candidate to on board and be productive quickly to provide a boost to our output velocity and to reach our target deadlines.

  • Design, development and implementation of enterprise software and scalable solutions in a high transaction environment that use web technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Development Managers, Architecture, QA and other Software Developers in producing quality software products utilizing best practice methodology and technology.
  • Participate in design reviews, unit testing, and process improvement for developing software.
  • Collaborate with different development teams geographically distributed as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements

In addition to demonstrable experience of the above responsibilities:

  • College degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 2 plus years of professional experience as a software developer.
  • Front end development experience in as many of the following as possible:
  • HTML5
  • Angular 4
  • Java script
  • CSS3
  • TypeScript
  • js
  • Experience with Heroku, Cloud Foundry, etc.
  • Experience with UI/UX Responsive design best practices
  • SVN, Git
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.

Experience with Scrum and Agile product development methodologies.

  • Proven ability to understand and solve complex business issues with innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform the creative, technical and analytical requirements of the role.
  • Excellent project management, business aptitude, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects and set reasonable objectives, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals.
  • Ability to perform and orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform special assignments as requested.

          Ability to coordinate the software development life cycle processes with cost perspective.
