Position is located at in our Jacksonville, FL office.

 

Job Summary:  Manages the development of technology solutions that achieve business objectives. Improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation and maintenance of business systems.

Position 80s

  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation.
  • Improves service to our clients by applying significant knowledge of industry trends and developments.
  • Reviews work of development team.
  • Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
  • Enforces architectural governance & software best practices
  • Acts as product release manager
  • Keeps project manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.
  • Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.
  • Communicates and enforces coding standards
  • Performs code reviews and mentors junior developers.
  • Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.
  • Provides leadership, direction and guidance to development team.
  • Coaches, trains and provides regular feedback to employees to recognize, reinforce or modify behavior.

 

Must be flexible to work extended/flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc., as necessary.

All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job will be considered.

 

Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.

 

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience managing a team of 5 or more
  • Microsoft .NET 3.5+ platform
  • ASP.NET / C#
  • Visual Studio 2008/2010
  • SQL Server 2005/2008 Development
  • Strong T-SQL programming skills
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills
