Mission

Ensures the accurate and timely capture of damage estimates into HyperQuest systems, where the Conversion technology has failed or is unable to be utilized.

 

Position 80s

  • Reads source documents, such as automobile damage estimates, and enter data in specific data fields, using keyboards or scanners;
  • Compiles, sorts and verifies the accuracy of data before it is entered;
  • Compares data with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format to detect errors;
  • Stores completed documents in appropriate locations;
  • Locates and corrects data entry errors, or report them to supervisors;
  • Corrects any errors which occurred during the estimate conversion process, based upon notification from Claims Specialists and MDS staff, or HQ Customer Service Representatives;
  • Manually key estimates utilizing Conversion 1.0 technology
  • Re-keys any estimates as necessary;

 

Must be flexible to work extended/flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc., as necessary; and,

All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned.

 

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job will be considered.

Education:

  • Minimum of a High School education or GED required

  • Proficient experience using MS Office Applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, judgment and decision-making skills.

 

Ability to:

  • Type at least 60 wpm with accuracy;
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing;
  • Quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns;
  • Arrange items in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations);
  • Communicate clearly and effectively (both verbally and in writing)
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced, stressful environment;
  • Sit for multiple hours at a time and to work multiple hours a day at a computer keyboard; and,
  • Remain alert and focused during the work day.
