Solera is a leading provider of risk and asset management software and services to the automotive and property marketplace, including the global P&C insurance industry. Solera has software for the many different transactions of a car’s lifecycle. Our products help to improve the automotive purchase and repair experience.


The Position:

The QA Engineer is part of the team responsible for developing MP2. The position is responsible for gathering the document requirements and ensuring a product or service meets the requirements in the BA aspect of the role. The QA elements of the role help to establish and maintain standards of quality including functionality, reliability, usability and performance of the software.


Position 80s


• With Agility spearheading squads, ensuring talent management, fulfill staffing & hiring needs
• Responsible for wide range of software implementation functions, including development of new applications, analyzes
and maintain current applications and processes, and making recommendations for improvement and innovation
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to manageable and measurable tasks
• Responsible for analysis of current applications including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problems, and
recommend solutions
• Mentor other software development team members
• Collaborate with team members and other groups in writing clear and concise functional, design, and implementation
• Adhere to company development standards (coding standards, unit testing, integration testing, best practices)

• Automation and performance tuning across the customer facing technology stack
• Define and Evangelize SW Engineering best practices across our company
• Support and Evangelize Software Architecture best practices across our company
• Evaluate and recommend SDLC process improvements
• Implement and Leverage reporting & data to quantify DevOps performance & efficiency

Must have:
• Experience in Aglie Development, SCRUM certified
• Previous experience in delivering programs where you made the difference creating tangible value
• A degree in IT / Computer Science
• Five plus years of complex programming concepts and desired languages and environments required
• Proven track record developing with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013/2015/2017 using the following .NET technologies: C#, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJs, Web API, HTML5, SASS, CSS3, HTML 5,  TypeScript, Entity Framework, NuGet, JavaScript / jQuery, JSON, SQL, NUnit, /MSTest/XUnit, jasmine, AutoFac, and responsive web design
• Knowledge in Document Databases, Continuous Integration, Containers, PowerShell, .NET Core, MS Build, NodeJs, Angular 2, Bower, Gulp, and Microservices are a plus
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
