The Data Informatics Analyst (DIA) will be responsible for running, delivering and maintaining a large amount of recurring reports to both our internal and external customers. The incumbent will gather report requirements from our clients and translates them into clear, useful ad-hoc reports as needed.

Position 80s

  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reports for external and internal clients
  • Work in partnership with the Data Warehouse and Product Management teams to continuously improve the organizational Business Intelligence infrastructure
  • Drive processes to automate existing manual reporting efforts
  • Perform quality assurance on work product to ensure accuracy of information provided
  • Support the predictive modeling and client through complex data extracts and analysis
  • Drive team compliance with corporate Data Governance and data documentation initiatives 
  • Maintains the report archives.
  • Work with our Sales/Customer/Product teams to perform data analysis and build reports for internal and external customers.
  • Must keep good records, inventory and catalogues of both recurring and ad-hoc reports.
  • Use report tools such as Oracle BI and SQL to generate data and run analysis for clients and internal stakeholders
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3  plus years of data experience
  • Knowledge of the automotive insurance industry or collision repair is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn the complex automotive insurance claims business
  • Must possess strong self-management skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Oracle BI and SQL  is a required. Experience writing SQL queries in an Oracle database. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Experience using Toad for Oracle a plus.
  • Experience using reporting tools, specifically Oracle BI, Tableau and Cognos Powerplay experience a plus.
  • A good understanding of relational databases.
  • Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing recurring reports to our clients as needed.
  • Detail oriented with good documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs and goals into human resource capabilities, producing accretive results for the company and associates, including identifying root causes and probable solutions
  • Must exhibit exceptional communication and organizational skills including superior attention to detail and an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
