The Director- Business Development primary responsibilities will be to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue generation and increase market share for—Insurance Carrier Services (ICS) line of business.
To achieve our aggressive goals for 2017 and beyond, the Director of Sales will have three primary objectives 1) Drive profitability– develop initiatives that improve overall profit (customer, product and region) by increasing product propensity, bundling and market share per region for key Insurance Accounts, 2) supporting the largest sales opportunities in Canada by providing sales guidance and advice, presentation and account management, and by marshalling the best resources in both Canada in order to win key deals, increase profitability and market share, while retaining customers. 3) Continuously monitor the competitive landscape–develop a thorough understanding of industry trends and emerging market innovations.
Candidates should have a successful track record in selling Insurances P& C software solutions in a SaaS model, ideally within the Insurance software space. Candidates must have presence, passion, and persuasion—excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
