Position 80s

The Director- Business Development primary responsibilities will be to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue generation and increase market share for—Insurance Carrier Services (ICS) line of business.

To achieve our aggressive goals for 2017 and beyond, the Director of Sales will have three primary objectives 1) Drive profitability– develop initiatives that improve overall profit (customer, product and region) by increasing product propensity, bundling and market share per region for key Insurance Accounts, 2) supporting the largest sales opportunities in Canada by providing sales guidance and advice, presentation and account management, and by marshalling the best resources in both Canada in order to win key deals, increase profitability and market share, while retaining customers. 3) Continuously monitor the competitive landscape–develop a thorough understanding of industry trends and emerging market innovations.

 

Candidates should have a successful track record in selling Insurances P& C software solutions in a SaaS model, ideally within the Insurance software space. Candidates must have presence, passion, and persuasion—excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
This position is remote.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify new prospects, source new leads, qualify opportunities while managing existing accounts. Craft overall value propositions, drive overall sales, lead negotiations and close profitable deals for the assigned region.
  • Ideal candidates will help lead our market growth and must possess a passion for blended solution and technical sales to adapt product presentations based on customer needs.
  • Apply discipline and rigor in sales forecasting and revenue (and profit) reporting. Plan and submit annual, quarterly, and monthly fiscal plans for large strategic accounts and updated quarterly and monthly sales forecasts.
  • Support team in sales presentations; deliver Audatex strategic vision to prospects and at key industry events.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technology, to help refine and promote effective product marketing and sales communication strategies and to strengthen company brand goals.



Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in sales and marketing with at least 3 years in a senior management capacity. Preferably for a high technology or automotive insurance software company.
  • You are passionate about your work and driven by the success of the entire team.
  • Have experience in selling B2B SaaS products to medium-sized businesses up to enterprises.
  • You display and inspire a culture of excellence and accountability with your peers and your team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Total command of Salesforce.com.
  • Proven track record as a consistent top performing sales leader and leading sales team that exceeds revenue goals.
  • Understand that face to face interaction with our prospects is required and is ready to travel 50% of the time.
